stopped and had two beers Got back on the ship at uh UI Salty Dog And uh I
had two more pint Heinekens and then two dirty Martinis and then one more
Heineken And uh we left Everything's still good Went back to the room and I
think I had a glass of wine and she's the wife said something I think you should
stop or something From there 1-1 really don't know what we were even

KM Her and them went to dinner And I went-and I was-being obox l guess
obnoxious I didn't even really know what I was doing But it was obviously kind
of what else I was doing it on purpose to be mean or rude And so her brother said
something my wife And I stood up and walked out and I said something to him
and I got to the room and my oldest daughter and my youngest daughter were
with us Just the four of us And we were talking and I said-I said you guys
need to step out so me and Mom can talk So they stepped out and ah on the way
back I said something about snapping at Mack or something that I hated Dad I
snap his neck or break his neck So we got

brought that up a few times Said I'm done 1-1 want
you off the boat tomorrow
Got to figure out away off the boat in Juneau That's basically what I said Have
the girls leave Somewhere in there I said why why So are you divorcing me She
wouldn't answer that She just kind of kept saying that I'm done I'm done with
this Ah you need to get off the boat tomorrow I knew you'd figure out a way to
ruin the trip And then I just tell them you need Ul I just kept saying please
please don't Because I started getting myself like riding down myself and burnt
up And I went over and she was kind of like on the headboard You know like
this I came from there and I had grabbed her like by her wrists or like by the
shoulders and the next thing I honestly remember is me telling don't come in
here Kaiya I mean it Don't come in here And then the next thing I
remember and it's is knowing not even remembering hitting her just one time I
know-I had her down on the floor her head was covered in blood And I
remember seeing it's almost like I'm looking down on myself is what I like
remember Like I saw my fist hit her and her lip was bloody and her lip was
swollen and her face was bloody And that's when chaos broke out because
everyone else was able to get into the room And from there I couldn't tell
you who hit me in the eye I couldn't tell
you what happened to
my rib I
couldn't but I-it's like I wasn't me 1-1-1 don't know how to explain it I
was that was not me 1-1 don't know how-I don't know how to explain it I
was like a-a beast A monster 1-uh I can't-the worst part is I can't
remember I don't remember why we started fighting What led to this shit I no
idea what started it And then then I like I said I got out of the room Ul
from there 1-1 went downstairs I guess
MJ Okay Do you remember ah like where your emotions were when you-when
you guys first got back to your room Because they were kind of worked up
about
KM Well well yeah I mean that's but that's like-that's what I mean I don't-we
were just-she kept saying I'm done We need to figure out a way to get you off
the boat in Juneau I knew you'd find a way to ruin this trip Man I Ul

RK Had they seen you hit her before
KM Never Ah what I did with the bed where I grabbed her shoulders Ah we've had
maybe two other incidents where like I Ul on the bed Then um and stop and
whatever when we're fighting Just
stop Whatever I've never even called her a
in front of the kids in anger I've never hand her ever Ever The
bitch raised my at
only time I've ever put hands on her is just what I just said is two or three times
like that Where I was like okay stop Yeah and it's time I've always been

happen You know we have our arguments We have our fights We have our
disagreements but we I mean you talk to all our friends Ul I bet ninety
percent of them would say that they always feel like we had a strong relationship
Because we've been together since we were seventeen We had our first daughter
at seventeen and Yeah like any couple we've had our problems but like I said a
majority of our friends would say I thought they were solid And we were I

KM That's Kalie She has autism and cerebral palsy So she was laying on the bed

me that I made it awkward at dinner And that was when I asked-there was
somewhere when I asked if it was okay because we needed to talk And um

RK Did she talk about divorce in the past You said she wanted you-did she ask did
you want a divorce Um she said she wanted you off the boat Have you had
conversations that she told you
KM No she-she-she never said a divorce I said ah do you want a divorce And
she had never answered me
RK Okay So you guys did this before the cruise or
KM No this

KM But ah in the past no I don't think we've ever had a true conversation about
ever divorcing No We've I don't think we've ever really-we-we've always
said our prime-one of our best things about our relationship is we never fight
We always have one or two good ones every year where we hurt feelings maybe
bring up something from the past hurt feelings and stuff And then it's like poof
It's done and over with We got shit off our chest and it's right back to normal I
mean we literally-I mean we always said that to people We have a fight so we
don't have a fight So when we do fight we have one or two good ones a year of

RK Uh no In your marriage In the last few years of your marriage
KM So punched the wall or something One two three um the wall in our old
house There's an armoire and a cabinet in the bathroom that I punched But
like it's always been a big joke since I was even a kid I get upset I snap a little
Even when I first got married I-weI get mad about whatever and 1 like I need
guess or whatever so
a quick release I I can snap a remote and it was like it
Sighs Everybody relax And say if I haven't done that Snapped remotes and
flipped over two tables Two like end tables One had glass One Ul about
five five bigger things and I'd say maybe four to a half dozen remotes Which
is not like Ul We've been together for almost twenty-five years So we bump
bump buttons better than anybody And it goes both ways I know how to push
hers She knows how to push mine and I never did this Pause
RK When-when you had this outburst was it was always you were angry at her Or
most of the time
KM No not necessarily It was-I would say is it could be I let's see Pause Let's
say the five bigger things are tables and the three holes or whatever Ul Yes
remotes Not so much Pause Uh it would be a lot of things Uh a lot I would
say yeah the remotes and a lot of the-a lot of the times Ul pot I got some
neighbors that have been maybe-putting a little camera right outside of our
house and the neighbor kids have been kind of almost in
way is bullying the kids
And it's our-our kids So we put a little camera up before we came just to keep
an eye on the house And um they're just-they're just like the sore sore
thumb Ul or whatever And so a couple of weeks ago a week ago I said I'm
just going over to check with Bud Make sure she knows Ul that I'm getting
worked up And Ul she said let's go-let's go shopping or something And then
we'll get going and she'll laugh because she knows Ul with ya because when
you're upset Ul It's like no I'd rather be like that anyway So I'm upset and
her temper it's not always her biggest Ul Pause Ul there's a lot of anger
laughs in the room

her with all my heart I and how I could do that to her is beyond me It's beyond
