Pneumatic friction brake-clutch is consisted of clutch main body. clutch otic
Placode . brake otic placode. friction disk
clutch pins. brake pins and lockplate,
which transmitting transfer torques. the unit is keyed on the driven shaft transmitting
the motion to the machine members .
The clutch ears and break ears are connected to the flywheel and frame by the four
pins ,to prevent the pins drunkenness the shape of blocks should be inserted in
through special slots on the disk and fixed by screws
The piston should be moved when the compressed air gets into the cylinder of clutch,
then the clutch engages .the compressed air should be out when the clutch is braking,
the piston move reversely by the spring ,the clutch of OMPI engages and brakes
within from 0.005 to 0.15 second
2. Installation requirement
1).Install the clutch round pin and square clamp , brake round pin and square cotter
which the allowance should be H7,and the center of hole should be parallel to center
of principal axis
2):The allowance between central clutch and groove of key ,and roughness should
reach the standard ,the position allowance of principal axis .and fineness should reach
the standard ,to improve assembly efficiency .
3).You can choose the different assembly sequence according to the different
conditions ,in generally firstly .install the clutch and brake pins, and clutch and brake
pin keep plate ,then install the clutch and brake main body
4)-The clutch and brake square clamp can eliminate deformation of plate causing by
the different between clutch and brake two pins and the clutch too heat .
Please note :the levels of clutch and brake square clamps should be parallel to axis
of clutch and brake earss)YARter assembling the clutch and brake should be moved smoothly ,before supply air
for the clutch ,you should check whether the clutch is moved smoothly
3. Maintenance for the clutch —brake
1).Before selling the clutch should be inspected carefully ,it is prohibited to
disassemble the clutch without agreement ,in case there is trouble in quality ,please
inform manufacturer
2).The friction will be worn for a long time .you should replace the friction disk ,it is
‘our most excellence to replace the friction disk conveniently
3).Methods of replacing friction
A-Disassemble the friction disk of clutch and clutch ears, is loose without
air remove the screws fixed the friction disk ,replace the friction ,then tighten
the screws
B- Disassemble the friction disk of brake , the brake ears is loose with air repeat
above mentioned
4), When need replace the friction disk
It should check the friction disk of the clutch engages exceeding 0.02 seconds, and
can not reach the capacity of the engagement and braking if the friction disk is
worn you must contact our service department immediately and replace it.
