On 03/18/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to 1000 block of East Michigan Avenue (East of
Lamay Avenue) for a larceny from automobile complaint. The deputies determined the suspects(s) pried open a car
door to gain entry. The time of occurrence was from 8:40 PM through 9:00 PM on 03/16/2011. A backpack, cash,
checkbook, MP3 player, and a textbook were taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

On 03/19/2011, deputies assigned to Superior Township responded to the 1000 block of Sheffield Drive (East
of Berkshire Drive) for a burglary complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) forced open the front
door to gain entry. The time of occurrence was from 8:00 PM on 03/15/2011 to 11:00 PM on 03/18/2011.
Unknown on what was taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

BURGLARY 11-12512

On 03/19/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 1000 block of Holmes Road (East of
Ford Road) for a burglary in progress. A citizen had heard an audible alarm, looked outside to see the business
being broken into and called 911. Another citizen called in to report two suspicious subjects in the area of
Hunter Avenue and Laurel Avenue that matched the description of the two suspects. The suspects were last
seen running north on Hunter Avenue.

The deputies determined that Suspect 1 threw a large piece of concrete through the front glass door to gain
entry. Suspect 2 was outside and never entered the store. The time of occurrence was at 3:27 AM on
03/19/2011. Several bottles of prescription drugs were taken. The suspect information is listed below:

Sheldon Drive) for a burglary complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) opened the front door with a
key that the homeowner had lost to gain entry. The time of occurrence was from 12:00 PM on 02/26/2011 to
10:00 PM on 03/18/2011. A handgun was taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

BURGLARY 11-12707

On 03/20/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 2000 block of Golfside Drive (South
of Clark Road) for a burglary complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) cut a screen and slid open a
window then crawled through to gain entry. The time of occurrence was from 5:45 PM on 03/19/2011 to 2:30
AM on 03/20/2011. Three laptop computers were taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

PURSE SNATCHING 11-12719 ARREST

On 03/20/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 7000 block of Tremont Boulevard
(North of Martz Road) for a purse snatching that just occurred. The deputies determined the victim, a twenty-
year-old female, was leaving a party at an unknown location when the suspect asked her for a ride home. The
victim had met the suspect a couple of times in the past and knew only his first name. The victim drove the
suspect to the 7000 block of Tremont Boulevard and stopped her vehicle. The suspect opened the passenger
door and grabbed the victim’s purse and took off running through backyards. The victim gave the deputies the
suspect first name but did not know any other information about him.

The deputies called for a K-9 and the track stopped at an address (in the backyard near the deck) in the 7000
block of Greenfield Street. The deputies contacted a male and female at the residence and located the suspect
in an upstairs bedroom. The suspect confessed to stealing the purse. All of the victim’s property was located
and returned.

The suspect, a seventeen year-old male Ypsilanti Township resident, was arrested and transported to the
County Jail without incident. The case will be turned over to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office for
review of criminal charges. The suspect was also on probation for Home Invasion.

SHOTS FIRED/RECKLESS DISCHARGE 11-12800 ARREST

On 03/20/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the area of Dorthy Street and Mollie Street
for a report of shots fired from a vehicle. The deputies arrived and located a witness in the area. The witness said she
saw a subject who was sitting in a vehicle fire several rounds in the air ( from a handgun). The witness pointed out
the location of the vehicle which was parked in the 1600 block of Dorthy Street.

The Deputies made contact with several subjects inside the suspect vehicle and ordered them out one by one at
gunpoint. The suspect exited the vehicle and quickly threw a 9mm handgun on the ground. The suspect was
immedialtey detained and the gun was recovered. A search of the vehicle yielded suspected drugs and 9mm
ammunition.

The suspect, a forty-one year-old female Chesterfield, Michigan resident, was arrested and transported to the County
Jail. The case will be forwarded to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office for review of criminal charges.

out of the parking lot by unknown means. The time of occurrence was from 12:00 AM to 9:00 PM on 03/20/2011.
There is no suspect information at this time. The stolen motorcycle is listed below:

Stolen Vehicle-1994 Suzuki Motorcycle /Silver and Black in color.
