Over the last year, CRS has been working in
partnership with Nahwa Al-Muwatiniya
(Na-am) and Development for People and
Nature Association (DPNA) on the implementation
of the Youth Activists Leaders in Lebanon (YALLA)
project, targeting the Lebanese youth to foster
change in the municipal election process
grounded in their democratic rights and
responsibilities as citizens.
On one hand, Na-am mission within this
project focused on creating a national group of
young activists (aged 18-25) from six regions of
Lebanon to gather data on youth perceptions
and opinions about voting and elections, and
their general attitude towards post- electoral
rights and responsibilities of both youth and
municipalities. The collected data was used to
organize a national media campaign aiming at

INTRODUCTION
