The Student Senate meeting covered the following items:
1) Presentations were given by Sana Merchant about an upcoming talent show, Kelvin Beachum proposing a student athlete representative chair, and Eric Sabandal about the upcoming student elections.
2) Officer reports were provided by the President, Vice President, Secretary, Speaker, Parliamentarian, and Chief of Staff.
3) Committee reports included updates from Organizations, Student Concerns, Membership, Scholarship, Communications, Diversity, and Finance.
4) Old business included approving funding for various student groups. New business discussed a pilot program to bring USA Today and NYT newspapers to campus.
