• ( January 2011 – Present ) Dr. Manuel Rodríguez - Web application for RAM Engineering and System Assesment
o Developing a web based application and database system to facilitate the maintenance data entry and
access. The system’s main goal is to decide which component on military helicopters should be given
maintenance.
• ( January 2010 – December 2010 ) Mr. Sergio Costa – IBM SWG Moonstone Technical Assistant
o Provided help to IBM WebSphere testers using the Moonstone testing infrastructure. This task included
testsuite/resource management, scheduling, problem determination and/or technical support.
• ( June 2009 – January 2010 ) Mr. Sergio Costa – IBM SWG LGT Developer
o Served as a developer for the WebSphere Laser Guided Testing framework. This included problem
determination, debugging and developing new features for the system
• ( January 2009 – June 2009 ) Mr. Sergio Costa – IBM SWG XFVT IT assistant
o Served as IT assistant in a lab with 400+ machines. This experience put me in contact with a vast
number of OS/Architecture combinations. The tasks involved were: providing technical support to the
testers, creation of virtual machines, script development among other things

Special Projects

• Automatic Fertigation System


o Provides a system to fertilize and irrigate crops automatically with the use of embedded systems. System
utilizes PIC18f microcontrollers interfaced with soil moisture sensors, temperature sensors, LCD displays,
Ethernet modules, ZigBee modules and solenoid valves. Dual control scheme allows the user to either
use the system from the master console on the field or at home through the Web.
• Electronic Course Manager
o Developed a System that facilitates the communication between professor and students. The system
provides a grade book, forums, event calendars, messaging system, intuitive resources section among
other features.
