 VERTICAL CONFIGURATION
SM8G is a new multipurpose drilling
rig dedicated to soil exploration and
geotechnical purposes meeting all CE
safety standards for hydraulic rig.
Thanks to high versatility of its equipments,
SM8G can support most drilling methods
on your jobsite: wire-line and conventional
continuous diamond coring; as well as DTH
and top-hammer drilling; and drilling methods
like TUBEX, ODEX and SIMMETRIX.
Its special and optimized rotary assembly
allows to SM8G to be particularly suitable to
reach high drilling speed (926 rpm) for great
performance.
The Cylinder crowd system, hoist force: 100
kN, finds no comparison in the market when
compact rigs are taken into consideration.
Hydraulic side shifting of rotary drive allows
a clear access to the drill hole and a easier
loading rods.
Hydraulic standard clamp and breaker (60-
260mm) for quickly and safely making and
breaking rod joints.
Ergonomic drilling control board is connect
on rig to guarantee the best view of the drill
hole.
Optional:
• Fully automatic SPT hammer for testing
and sampling mounted on board.
• On board triplex water/mud pump
capable of delivery of 200 l/min @ 45bar
