Description
The government of Abu Dhabi offered the site at Al Falah to Aldar to construct approximately 5,000 housing units for UAE nationals. This
project forms part of a wider government initiative to create more social housing for the local population. Rather than simply allocate plots to
UAE nationals, provide interest free loans and then wait for villas to be built over a period of time, the government has requested the design of
a number of villa types to be constructed by Aldar Properties within a master planned area. Residents will then be given the choice of a
particular villa type, of a size commensurate with their family needs. The villas will then be constructed in a phased manner according to a
comprehensive master plan.
The master plan for Al Falah is designed to provide full community facilities and extensive social housing opportunities for Emirate’s citizens. It
will also provide integrated retail, commercial, educational, health and leisure uses for the town.
The master plan will provide five separate villages and a town center. All of these will provide a high quality of life for its residents with well –
designed places, attractive public realm, built environment, parklands and landscape.
