TITLE : Hawaii Health Emergency Surveillance System (HHESS)

DESCRIPTION
HHESS is a computerized automated biosurveillance system designed to help the
hawaii state department of health (DOH) detect outbreaks of infectious diseases or other
health emergencies earlier than existing public health monitoring systems currently allow.
HHESS is designed to collect and integrate near real-time health data for the purposes of
early detection, characterization, and situational awareness of exposures and acute human
health events of public health significance. The system can examine data from different
sources (including hospitals) to look for indicators that an outbreak may be taking place.

The HHESS system will accept emergency department admission records from hospitals,
then group and analyze the data for items of public health significance. In addition to
infectious disease surveillance, the DOH will use the data to conduct situational awareness.

Responsibilities:
1. Involved in development of Administration Module and Alerts Module of the
product.
2. Involved in developing various client components and screens using HTML,
Struts TLD and JSP .
3. Designed and Developed the data and communication flow within the client
components to achieve and flexible code.
4. Involved in Coding and Development of server side components using
Hibernate and Springs.

profile suits the requirements. In the user module those who are in seek of a job can
upload there resumes and apply for the job that suits his/her profile.

Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The other side of the organization is employees
