Spin to Read and Write

Spin the paperclip on the board. Read the word it lands on then write the word on the graph
below. If it lands on a line, spin again. The first word to fill up a row is the winner! Write a tell-
ing sentence and an asking sentence using this word on the back of this sheet, or the “My Sen-
tences” sheet.
To assemble: Print out spinners on cardstock. Cut out and attach paperclip with
a brass paper fastener. Print out the record sheet and the “My Sentences
Sheet”. Then have fun!
This is the list of FOURTH GRADE Spelling. The idea is the kids will put a paper-
clip on the spelling list spinner board and record the word it lands on. One
word is written for each row and as soon as a word is written in all the columns
for that row....then use the “My Sentences Sheet” to write two sentences, one a
statement and one a question. Remember to use your best handwriting
and proper grammar.
