Dear Mentor,

Almost 20 years ago, I was a high school student with dreams of attending college. At
the time, my family was struggling to make ends meet – and college, especially an
expensive art and design school – seemed sadly out of reach.

Unbelievably, two of my high school art teachers personally contributed $358 each, to
help me pay for my first college courses. Their financial sacrifice and personal guidance
have never left my thoughts and continue to inspire me today. It has been my personal
goal to some day pay back their generosity.

Fortunately, through my design firm, LaineGabriel, I am able to pay it forward - Tenfold.

Announcing, The Tenfold Initiative - LaineGabriel’s Scholarship Fund and mentoring

program for young, aspiring artists and designers.

Our goal with The Tenfold Initiative is to first and foremost, offer an annual, one-time
$1,500 scholarship to a Central Ohio high school senior. One in need, one who dreams
of attending college, much like I did some 20 years ago.

In addition, The Tenfold Initiative will include speaking engagements, mentoring

programs, and free art courses for our young, budding artists. The result: a Tenfold
return of the original $358 gift.

As part of the mentoring program, and if you find this appropriate for your classroom, I
am available to speak with your senior art classes about the advertising and design field.
This lecture will help inform your students and answer questions they may have about
pursuing graphic design as a career.

I am humbled to have the opportunity to pay back the generosity shown by our teachers
everywhere, and would be honored to have your students apply for our annual
scholarship.

With gratitude and sincerity,

Lisa Miller
Principal
