individual's spouse or dependents, subject to specified limitations and conditions; providing that
an individual must enroll in an approved program or approved industry certificate program that
provides training in specific work-related skills or occupations that are in short supply and are
critical to Maryland's economic development strategy; etc.

Clarifying that a corporation may include specified provisions in its charter and bylaws;
clarifying that a real estate investment trust may include specified provisions in its declaration of
trust or bylaws; providing that the duties of directors of a corporation and the duties of the
trustees of a real estate investment trust do not require them to take specified actions; providing
that specified provisions of the Act do not apply unless specified corporations or real estate
investment trusts elect to be subject to them; etc.
