CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and

India's development process. Founded over 110 years ago, it

government on policy issues, enhancing efficiency,
competitiveness and expanding business opportunities for
industry through a range of specialised services and global
linkages. It also provides a platform for sectoral consensus
building and networking.
About CII-Godrej GBC
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Government of
Andhra Pradesh and House of Godrej with the technical
support of USAID, have launched the CII - Sohrabji Godrej
Green Business Centre.
CII - Godrej GBC is the Centre of Excellence in Energy
Efficiency, Green Buildings, Renewable Energy, Water,
Environment & Recycling and Climate Change activities in
India.

 About Indian Green Building Council
(IGBC)
IGBC, which is part of CII-Godrej GBC, is actively involved
in promoting the Green Building concept in India.
The council is represented by all stakeholders of
construction industry comprising of : Corporate,
Government & Nodal agencies, Architects, Product
manufacturers, Institutions, etc.
The council operates on a consensus based approach and
member-driven.
The vision of the council is to serve as single point solution
provider and be a key engine to facilitate all Green Building
activities in India.
