Тема: My country
Цели урока:
Практические: к концу урока учащиеся смогут:
 использовать НЛЕ в высказываниях по теме;
 извлекать информацию из текста для чтения;
 составлять диалогические высказывания по теме;
 составлять творческие письменные высказывания по теме.
Общеобразовательные
 расширение общего кругозора;
 развитие филологического кругозора;
Воспитательные
 воспитание чувство принадлежности к своей семье, патриотизма и
уважения к другим культурам;
 воспитание внимательности, самостоятельности, трудолюбия.

 развитие языковой и речевой догадки;
 развитие умений во всех ВРД;
 развитие памяти, мышления, воображения;

T: - Today we’re practicing the sounds [ʃ] and [s]. Repeat after

синтагм)
T-S1: Can you read the whole one, please?
T-Cl: Read the tongue twister all together now!
3. Речевая зарядка + сообщение темы урока:
T: -Today we are going to speak about our country. So, what is
our country?
Cl: - Russia! 2 мин
T: - What does the Russian flag look like?
S1: - It’s white, blue and red.
T: -Can you show Russia on the map?
S2: - Yes, I can. Here it is.
T-Cl: -Now please open your student books on the page 10.

1. Vocabulary. Countries and Nationalities Упр. 1, с. 10 Задача: освоение

лексики по теме «Страны и национальности».

T-Cl: - Let’s do the 1st task. Repeat the names of the countries after me: Brazil,
Britain, Germany, Japan, Poland, Russia, Spain. При перечислении стран
учитель демонстрирует их на карте мира.

T-Cl: - Now match the countries to the nationalities. (2 минуты на выполнение)

T-Cl: - Now listen and check. OK, give me the correct answers one by one.

S1: - Britain - British

S2: - Germany - German

S3:- Japan - Japanese

S4: - Poland - Polish

S5: - Russia – Russian

S6: - Spain – Spanish

T-Cl: - Well done! Let’s listen to the recording one more time. Repeat the pairs
after the speaker. <…> Great!

Read the task under the letter B. What questions can you ask your partner?

2. Everyday English. Describing Location Упр. 2, с. 10 Задача: освоение

лексики для обозначения сторон горизонта.

T-Cl: - Have a look at the compass. What do the letters mean?

T-Cl: (указывая на соответствующие стороны света) – Repeat after me: the

north, the south, the east, the west, the northeast, the southeast, the southwest, the
northwest.

T-Cl: - Now look at the map in the picture. Let’s read the names of the
geographical places. Repeat:

T-Cl: -Well done! Now do the task B. Work in pairs. Follow the example given.
Reading • Упр. 3, с. 10 Задача: развитие умений прогнозирования и
поискового чтения

T-Cl: - Read the 3rd task. Judging by the title, what may this text be about?

S1: - The text is about Chile and why the girl/person loves it.

T-Cl: - Let’s check it!

Учащиеся читают текст в сопровождении аудио записи и отвечают на

предложенные вопросы.

T-S1: - [Name], answer the 1st question, please.

S1: - Maria is from Chile in South America

T: - True!

T-S2: - [Name], you take the 2nd one.

S2: - Santiago is the capital of Chile.

T: - Exactly!

T-S3: - [Name], the last question.

S3: - A tourist can see the Atacama Desert, Patagonia, and the Andes Mountains.

T: - Good job!

T-Cl: - OK, what about the words in bold? What do they mean?

S1: - Live – живу.

T: - Yes. The girl’s home is in Santiago.

S2: - “Capital” means “main”

T: -True!

S3: - Ice is very cold water.

T: - Yes, it’s frozen. There is some ice in the streets now!

S4: - In deserts there is a lot of sand.

T: - True.
S5: - Volga is a river. Water…

T: - Good job! Any questions?

• Упр. 4, с. 10 Задача: развитие умений монологической речи на основе

прочитанного — описание страны.

T-Cl: - Can you remember words and phrases which show that Maria loves her
country?

S1: - I love Chile

S2: - a beautiful country

S3: - a wonderful place

T: - Very well. Now close your books please. What 3 facts do you know about
Chile? Show Maria’s attitude to the country.

Writing (a short article about your country) Упр. 5, с. 10 Задача: развитие

умений продуктивного пись
 ма: краткое описание своей страны.

T-Cl: - So, now we’re ready to speak about our country. Have a
look at exc. 5.
Write an article about Russia in your copybooks. Use the text
from exc. 3 as an example. You may start.
