The 2nd edition of the Guide to Fire Protection
in Malaysia has been published by The Institution of
Fire Engineers (UK) Malaysia Branch (IFEM) in association
with the Fire & Rescue Department Malaysia (FRDM), Pertubuhan
Akitek Malaysia (PAM), the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM)
and Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM).

The latest edition of this hugely popular reference book for all users
concerned with fire protection in the building industry has been updated
with elaboration on Smoke Control as well as a new section covering
the latest development in Standards for Performance-Based Fire Extinguishers.
For passive fire protection, illustrations have been revamped to make
them clearer and the contents to most sections are now augmented
to better explain their concepts and principles.
