SAY THANK YOU TO GOD

Minggu 1

HUNGRY TUMMIES

Look at all the good foot to eat! What is your favorite food? Is t pizza? Is it popcorn?
Maybe it’s sweet, juicy apples. People need food to eat and water to drink every day. Food
and water help to make us healthy and strong. Everything we eat and drink comes from the
wolrd that God made. When you eat a meal or a snack and have something good to drink,
remember to say thank you to God.

My bible verse: He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. (Psalm
107:9)

My prayer :Thank you for food and water, too. Lord these blessings come from you.

Minggu 2

ALWAYS BE THANKFUL

Kaitlyn and Zoe are make a big mess! But after they clean up, everyting will be okay.
Sometimes we have problems in our lives that’s seem like big messes. Things don’t always
go the way we want them to. But do you know what? God wants us to be thankful anyway.
He can make our big messes turn out okay.

My bible verse: No matters what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for
you who belong to Christ Jesus. (I Thessalonians 5 :18)

My prayer : When things don’t always go my way, please help me know it will be okay.
 Minggu 3

THANK YOU, GOD

Can you see what Jack is going to do before he eats his cookie? Jack is folding his hands
and saying thank you to God. When we pray, we often ask God for things. We ask him to
take care of us. We ask him to help our friends. We ask him to keep us safe. Those are all
good things to pray about. But it is also important to say thank you to God. We can thank
him for everything he gives us each day.

My bible verse : Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. (Psalm
107:1)

My prayer : Thank you, God, for the good things you give to help me enjoy each day that I
live.

Minggu 4

THANK YOU FOR FRIENDS

Jack is waving good-bye to his friends. They had fun playing together. Even though they
are going home, Jack can still be happy about his friends. He can pray for them and thank
God for them. Do you have friends that you like play with? Even when you are not with
them, remember to pray for them. Say thank you to God for your friends.

My bible verse : I thank my God every time I remember you. (Philippians 1:3)

My prayer : God I thank you for my friends even when our playtime ends.

GENTLENESS

Minggu 1

EXTRA HELP

Sometimes Kaitlyn and Jack have to do things they don’t feel like doing. How about you?
Would you rather play outdoors than set the table? Do you complain whe your parents tell
you it’s time for bed? Do you sigh when you have to pick up your toys? If you talk to God,
he will help you to do whatyou need to do. And you may even enjoy it!

My bible verse : God is working in youto help you want to do pleases him. Then he gives
you the power to do it. (Philippians 2: 13)

My prayer : Thank you, God for your help each day. I want to please you in every way.

Minggu 2

HONOR YOUR PARENTS

The bible tell us to honor our parents. That’s means we need to obey them. We also honor
them by being polite. We say please when we ask for something. And we say thank you
when we they do things for us. How are Kaitlyn and Jack honoring their parents? How can
you honor your parents? Remember, when you honor your parents, you are also honoring
God.

My bible verse : Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the
land the Lord your God will give you. (Exodus 20:12)

My prayer : Help me to honor my parents today. And show them y love as I try to obey.

Minggu 3
 DON’T COMPLAIN

Poor zoe! She can’t play on the swings because she hurt her leg. She is sad, but she’s not
complaining. Parker wants to climb the rope ladder. But Jack says it’s his turn. Parker is
not complaining. He knows that would spoil a good day. The Bible tells us we should not
complain or argue. Can you be like Zoe and Parker? How can you help your friends have a
good day?

My Bible verse : Do everything without complaining or arguing. (Philippians 2 : 14)

My prayer : Help me, God, to watch what I say. So I will not complain today .

Minggu 4

NOAH OBEYED

Look at Kaitlyn and Jack in the little boat. Do you know the story about Noah and his BIG
boat? A long time ago, people became very bad. God decided to wash everything away with
a flood and start over again. But Noah love God. So God told him to built a big boat and
take the animals inside. Noah did exactly what God told him to do. So Noah and his family
and the animals were safe during the flood because Noah obeyed God.

My Bible verse : Noah did everything exactly as God had commanded him. (Genesis 6:22)

My prayer : Lord, just like Noah, I want to obey. And listen to all the words you say .

OKTOBER
 SELF CONTROL

Minggu 1

NO MORE FIGHTING!

Zoe and Kaitlyn are fighting. Sometimes friends get mad and argue when something bad
happens betweet them. God doesn’t want us to yell and fight. He knows that will make us
fell worse. God wants us to talk about what happened instead. Talking is better that
fighting because it will make us fell better inside. Zoe and Kaitlyn talked about what
happened. Then they stopped fighting. And now they are friends again.

My bible verse : Because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement. (Philippians
4:2)

My prayer : Help me, Lord, to do what is right. To talk things out instead of fight .

Minggu 2

DON’T STAY MAD

Jack is mad. He is having a temper tantrum because he’s angry about something that
happened. Do you ever get mad? Everyone gets mad once in a while. The important thing is
that we shouldn’t stay feeling that way. The Bible tells us that by the end of the day, we
should not be angry anymore. If you ever get mad, you can go to your room and rest for a
while. You can sing a song. And you can ask to Jesus to help you be happy and kind again.

My Bible verse : Do not go on being angry all day. (Ephesians 4:26)

My prayer : Help me, Jesus, when I am a mad. You’re the one who can make me glad.

Minggu 3

A PEACEFUL FEELING
Kaitlyn has a smile on her face because she is feeling peaceful. Do you know what it means
to feel peaceful? It means that we are not worried or bothered about anything. When we
believe in Jesus, we don’t have to worry. He is our friend. He takes care of us. And he
helps us with our problems. Doesn’t that make you feel peaceful?

My Bible verse : [Jesus said,] “ I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart.”
(John 14 : 27)

My prayer : Thank you, Jesus, for the peace that you give. I want to feel peaceful each
day that I live.

Minggu 4

WIN OR LOSE

“Run, run, run!” yells Jack as loudly as he can. Jack wants his team to win the baseball
game. But what if they don’t win? Will things be okay? Of course they will. It’s always
great to win. But losing doesn’t take away all the fun. Sometimes losing a game can be a
good. It’s make the team work harder and get better. If we love Jesus, he make good
things happen even when we lose.

My Bible verse : We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love
him. (Romans 8:28)

My prayer : In all that happens, help me to see the good things you have waiting for me.
