Team Denmark Adventure Racers will participate in the Adventure Racing World Series
race in Ecuador 26, 27, 28 Febuary 2011.

The race has extensive media coverage as a World Series Race and we are seeking
sponsors who would like to positively expose their brand in this type of outdoor, extre-
me endurance event.

The Race

Expedition Adventure Race

World Series Accredited

The race is 300km in length involving kayaking, navigation, mountain biking rope work and
running across the spectacular Ecuadorian Andean mountains from Cotopaixi one of the
highest volcanoes in the world to jungle environments.

Top endurance athletes will race both day and night on very little sleep, through this
spectacular challenging terrain, navigating without GPS aid through dense forests, high

 Who are we?
We are an international team from Denmark and Ireland.

The Story

Lars and Fiola raced on opposing teams in the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge. A friendship
was forged between the Irish team AR Denny and the Danes Adventure Racing Denmark as
they were within seconds of each other at every checkpoint for the 5 day race. The idea to

then sought a “strong” female adventure racer to complete the team.
