What would be the most fitting appellation for art that focuses on the sensual and 
sexual aspects of male life? Well, if  these artworks are created  by men who  love 
men, if they are dedicated to men who love men, then “gay art” surely is the term 
which brings it to the point best.  Standing for its own this term would be a crude 
and improper generalization, of course, but when we think about it as the thread
