Power Systems Project Engineer

Responsible for project bid, schedule, design, equipment approval, and commissioning. Track
and manage project financials including estimation of equipment accruals. Negotiate purchasing
contracts with vendors. Ensure projects meet customer specifications, city codes, NFPA, NEC
and various other standards. Coordinate construction, installation, and customer witness tests
and training. Interface with customers, vendors, and technicians daily. Knowledge in various
Power Systems Studies such as: Short-Circuit / Fault Levels, Power Factor Correction, Voltage
Droop, Voltage Drop, Power Management and Load Shedding, and Protective Device Evaluation
and coordination. Key Accomplishments:

• Recently exceeded gross profit on a $4 Million dollar project by more than 14%
• Successfully integrated new bi-fuel technology never before employed by Holt CAT
• Designed and built a relay based control panel for a hydraulic fracturing unit providing

realization, participating in feasibility studies and the elaboration of the technical specifications,

in installations and start-up. Develop electrical schematics and write PLC code when designing
new or updating outdated automation equipment. Key Accomplishments:

• Increased plant safety numbers by more than 20% by working with safety plant
management team and modifying equipment, therefore decreasing a significant amount
of injury claims on several safety related projects.
• Helped increase production of tire related product line by 12% by modifying outdated
machines and updating obsolete equipment.
