The V-DOCS client software allows the user to digitally sign agreements for submission to the server. Note that the
V-DOCS client software is actually two separate applications: the main client software along with a browser add-on
that communicates with it.

V-DOCS support several configuration options such as multiple monitors, tablets, etc. This is controlled by a
properties file resident on each workstation. In order to best manage this in your organization, centralized
application management protocols are recommended. Updates of third party components may require installation /
permission to install applications to the workstation.

System Requirements

The minimum system requirements for a V-DOCS work-station are outlined in the table below:

The  V-­‐DOCS  client  requires  a  minimum  of  128  Mb  (Megabytes)  of  free  memory  to  run,  with  256  
Memory  
megabytes  recommended.  

Processor   Minimum  Pentium4  2GHz  (or  AMD  equivalent).  Recommended  Core  2  Duo  (or  AMD  equivalent).  

Disk  
Approximately  250  Mb  (Megabytes)  of  free  space  to  install  and  run.  
Space  

The V-DOCS client has the following hardware requirements:

x V-­‐DOCS  requires  either  a  compatible  Topaz  pad  (T-­‐S460-­‐HSB,  T-­‐L462-­‐HSB,  or  T-­‐LBK462-­‐HSB  models)  or  a  
touch  screen  and  stylus  (Wintab  compliant)  
x Mouse  and  keyboard  
x Display  resolution  no  less  than  1024×768.  
x Optical  scanner  device  (  TWAIN  compliant)  is  optional  for  paper  contract  input.  
x Optional  ʹ  secondary  customer  facing  monitor  (requires  either  dual  output  graphics  card  or  laptop  with  
attached  secondary  monitor)  
x Internet  access  including  visibility  of  administrative  server's  domain  

The V-DOCS client has the following software requirements:

x Installation  and  configuration  of  the  VDOCS  browser  add-­‐on  (requires  Internet  Explorer  version  6  and

x For  browser  add-­‐on  use:  browser  toolbars  must  be  enabled,  and  agreement  must  be  natively  displayed  
within  Internet  Explorer.  
x The  latest  version  of  Adobe  Acrobat  reader.  
x Recursive  Read/Write/Execute  user  permissions  on  the  install  folder  and  all  sub-­‐folders.  
x Installation  of  signing  device  (Topaz  Siglite  application,  or  Wintab  support  for  tablet  devices)  applications.
