Simple Present Tense

You use the Simple Present Tense to talk about habitual actions.
It is also called Habitual Present.
To form a simple present statement you use a subject + an infinitive.
The infinitive form of the verb adds an “s” when it goes with third persons in the singular
(he / she / it).

Examples:
Infinitive : To Work = Trabajar Infinitive: To Live = Vivir.

Structural Aspect

Simple Present: Interrogative and negative Forms

To ask questions and give negatives statements in Simple Present you need to use
auxiliaries:

- Do, with the pronouns I, You and plural subjects.


- Does, with the third person singular subjects.

Reading:
A day in the life of a cameraman

Richard Miller is a cameraman. He is twenty five years old and he is single. He works at
the National T.V. Channel. He lives in a flat near the studio.
He usually gets up at in the morning. He goes jogging to the park and back home. He takes
a shower and then he dresses. He has breakfast at 8.30 and he drives his car to the T.V.
Studio. He works from 9.30 to 6.30.
In the evening he goes out with friends or he stays home and watches T.V. until he goes to
sleep at about 11 o’clock.
