Instructions:
Combine 1/2 - 3/4 cup of Milk Powder (to taste) to 4 cups of warm water. Mix in blender or with wire whisk for
about 30 seconds. Chill overnight. Best stored in a glass pitcher for up to four days in refrigerator. Yields 1 Quart of
Milk Substitute. **You can alter this to make skim, 1%, 2% or whole milk, simply add more or less powder to the
water

Dry pack Mountain Mills Milk Substitute may be stored in original sealed, oxygen-free cans for up to 5 years. All
Honeyville family preparedness products are dry packed using oxygen absorbing packets which have been found

What is it?:
This is a 100% dry instant milk. It will ideally mix with hot water but can be mixed with cold water.

Instructions:
To make one quart of liquid milk, mix ½ cup Dry Milk Powder with 3 ½ cups water. Mix in a blender or with a wire

This Non-Fat Dry Milk Powder will store for about 2 years, unopened. Once mixed, store like normal milk.

What is it?:
Evaporated milk is also known as dehydrated milk. It is a shelf-stable canned milk product with about 60% of the
water removed from fresh milk. The process involves the evaporation of about half the water from the milk, after
which the product is homogenized, canned, and sterilized.

The cheapest way to get this milk is to buy it locally. You may buy it online for about $77 for a case of 6 97 oz.

Instructions:
Mix one can of evaporated milk to one can of water and chill. Mix less water in for a thicker milk.

Interestingly enough, the storage life will depend on the fat content. Skimmed evap. milk will
store only 9 months. Lowfat, 12 months. Regular, 15 months.

Mixes instantly.  Just add to the desired amount of water and stir. For one quart nonfat milk add 1 1/3 to 1 2/3 cups
