On March 27 after the 12:00 noon Mass in a ceremony well attended

by parishioners, staff and guests who have contributed to the build-
ing of the plaza with commemorative bricks surrounding the Ten
Commandment/Beatitude monument. Fr. Peter together with special
guest Village of Lombard President Bill Mueller blest and dedicated
the commemorative bricks and benches. Helping Fr. Peter in the rib-
bon cutting was Lorraine Airey and Jeanne Seyller, parishion-
ers. Another special guest was John Brust of Brust Funeral home who
donated a bench. Also in attendance was Mr. and Mrs. Kapsa of
Kapsa monument and Steve Spoden of Lombardian News.

We thank John & Linda Dovalovsky who purchased the other bench
remembering the unborn children. In his speech Fr. Peter spoke of this
plaza as a place were we remember those we love and to be remem-
bered ourselves. A place were the names of parishioners who help built
this church the last 50 years and the current and future generations who
will carry on after us. After the dedication a light lunch was served at
the Parish Life Center.
