 Wildlife Technician: Responsibilities include making sure there are no nesting birds around the landfill and to discourage gulls
and turkey vultures from feeding or loafing on the landfill.
The Grenville Hotel and Restaurant 2006-2009 Bayhead, NJ
 Waitress/Office Assistant: As a waitress my duties were to serve guests, prepare food, and keep my work area clean. As a n
office assistant, my responisibilities included answering phone calls, arranging reservations for both hotel guests, restaurant
guests, and large events such as weddings, birthdays, etc. Other duties included filing paperwork and general customer service.

ACTIVITIES
International Student Volnuteer 7/2009 New Zealand
 Environmental Volunteer: Month-long program involving several aspects of environmental conservation. First 2 weeks
were spent in the rural areas of New Zealand re-planting trees for the major re-forestation effort currently happening
throughout New Zealand. The second half of the experience was spent traveling throughout the country, getting involved
in small-scale wildlife conservation projects as well as enjoying some free time to explore New Zealand as a tourist.
New Jersey Community Water Watch 2007 - 2008 Ocean County, NJ
 Education Intern: Spent several sessions with local elementary and middle school classes in order to teach the students
about critical importance of the Barnegate Bay estuary and how it affects their communities. These sessions also
concentrated on general education about the sustainable use of water and how this can positively affect the environment.
 Clean-up Volunteer: Attended multiple “clean-ups” throughout NJ. These events took us to several local water systems of NJ,
at which our main goal was to remove as much litter/waste as possible for the purpose of keeping NJ’s water supply as pure as
possible.
