March 2011. Discover how music medicine and music therapy is implemented throughout various aspects
of the hospital, from programs to an arts based gallery featuring works created by patients, to
collaborative projects with renowned artists. Learn how music and music therapy based interventions are
integrated into various levels of care for patients and their families.
As Children's of Minnesota unveils a $300 million campus expansion and modernization project, be part
of a special opportunity to see the new Minneapolis state of the art campus. At Children’s, we integrate
art and music with architecture, landscape, and medicine to create inspirational and transformative healing
journeys for the children we serve. In addition, we are the home of the largest and longest running Pain,

integrative practitioners help manage the pain and distressing symptoms of patients in the hospital and in
their homes every day. You can learn more about these programs as well as see the art environment as
you view Children's Gallery, signature artwork on the music making floor of the hospital and Specialty
Clinic. You will tour many public areas of the hospital and see the surgical center, family resource center
