The sixth circle of alteration is completed as more vampires are created and 9 earth gems are
distilled.

Pedoseion easily plows through Pythium͛s province defence, recapturing one of the provinces lost
over the last year. Further south Sephorin͛s army continues it͛s rampage through the empire.
The time has finally come for me to order the forging of a great artifact, the ring of sorcery.

My mages start to ritually search the former province of the sorceress for magical power, but find
none. I distill 19 gems of nature as well as some air gems from my dominion while a new hero comes
forward, ready to serve me.
Pedoseion continues his rampage, regaining the province of Gol Ryepe and cutting the enemy
communion off from reinforcements.

This is an opportunity that may not come again and a force is built from what is available to strike at
our enemy. The spearhead of this force is 53 vampires and 15 devils and supported by Pedoseion
himself, 2 demonbred and the now fully outfitted vampire lord Screech.
4fter last months success, I order the alchemisation of all the water gems available, along with a
substantial number of air gems in order to craft an item more powerfull than the ring of sorcery; a
ring of wizardry. I also personally craft a jade knife, in order to increase the spread of my dominion.

Sephorin sends a considerable amount of blood slaves in return to some water and air gems sent just
prior to my alchemisation last month. The seventh circle of 4lteration is completed, giving my
demonbred access to the spell Pheonix Pyre, my focus then turns to Evocation for the first time.

The site searching this month has revealed a grove of evergreens, while I become aware of several
magical sites revealed by Pythium in the provinces that have been recaptured over the last couple of
months.
Once again two armies face off against each other across a battlefield in the province of Ephesibor.
4s the empires legions prepare for battle, the theurges view with growing alarm a ritual being
performed by the enemy, it appears that the 4bysians intend to unleash a new sorcery during the
battle.
The legion shudders as the entire 4bysian battleline launches into the air, and steeles itself for the
coming battle. Seconds later however confusion reigns as the entire battlefield plunges into a deep
darkness that the humans find diorienting. The vampires and devils that make up the 4bysian forces,
who are perfectly capable of functioning in such an environment, dive down amongst the empires
army, tearing into it͛s ranks.

Confused and helpless the legion is massacred as the battle turns one sided, only the furious prayers
of theurges smiting blindly with holy power cause any damage at all to the 4bysian horde. When the
battle is over the victors find a new structure built by the enemy in a small village of merman; an
arcane laboratory.

4fter months of being on the defensive I have ordered out forces briefly reorganise before carrying on
the offensive, in the meantime I order the forging of some earth boots along with four lightless
lanterns.

Research proceeds quickly on the first to fourth circle of evocation, while the site searching doesn͛t
reveal anything of interest this month, I do manage to distill 12 earth gems.
The offensive will renew this month, being driven by vampires and demonbred. Meanwhile I order
only a single pair of earth boots to be forged this month.

The researchers complete the fifth circle of thaumaturgy, and all the site searching results in only a
single site being found; a forest of truffles.



The vampires easily feast on the province defence in the Deadlands, and are eager to move onto
another province.


Pedoseion uses this month and the dwarven hammer to forge, a second dwarven hammer.

Researchers complete the fifth circle of evocation, while the site searching this turn proves futile
again. Several of my commanders come under mental attack by Pythium theurges mind huntin while
I am able to distill 4 air gems and 8 earth gems from my dominion this month.
For now my mages are able to shrug off the mental attacks and carry through with the planned
assault, it becomes clear that the mind hunts were intended to split my attacking force as it is met by
another small communion supported by a significant force of medium infantry and province defence.

The vampires and devils are strong troops however and eagerly throw themselves into battle, even
outnumbered they have the upper hand in what becomes a battle of attrition the humasn can not
win.

Eventually Pythium͛s forces break and flee from the field, leaving my forces to claim ownership of the
province and it͛s single magic site, a painted cave.

While Pythium͛s defence was unsuccessfull it did managed to weaken and scatter my current field
army. I decide to pull back in order to reorganise and reinforce. Utilising what may be the greatest
strength of my devil and vampire forces, fast and flexible movement.

Forging for this month consists of creating a third dwarven hammer as well as a fifth lightless
lantern.

The other wars raging across the land are coming to a close as both Eriu and Bandar Log are close to
defeat, however it is evident that there is still far to go in our war; it is just heating up.
