Subject :Hopeful and respectful request for kind protection towards our Arakanese in the
present serious event in Bangladesh

Concerning with the above matter, we sorrowfully heard that during the happy new year in
accordance with Arakanese Tradition,the two locals were killed at the event of confrontation
and quarrelling between the locals and Arakanese(Rakhaing) over the dispute of lands they
own. That serious and sorrowful event happened in Gwima Village,Marnintsuri Area at about 12
pm. We sorrowfully hear due to the news of the death of the two locals, the local nearby areas
gathered and plot killing all Arakanese they met on the road. The two Arakanese women were
killed and died on the spot , and most got serious injured. An enormous crowd prevented all
vehicles on the Zatlipara , pull down and killed Arakanese.

His Excellency Minister, Bangaldesh and Arakan Kingdom have been neighboring nations since
many millenniums up to now. According to the historical records, the two-Sultans and Arakan
Kings - had cordial diplomatic relationship in the fields of Military ,Political , Economic and
Culture Affairs. From the 15th Century on, both sides established co-peaceful existence by
means of establishing blooded brotherhood relationships.

We do not really wish to create unnecessary strong circle of anger and bitter emotion for both
sides regarding that incident. Instead, We wish for a new historical page with familiar, cordial
and peaceful co-existence that can guarantee belief and sustainable bilateral relations.

On the one hand, We ,Arakan League for Democracy(Exile)Malaysia, feel the same sorry with
the victims’ beloved families ,and would honestly like to say that we have a great sympathy on
them. We, on the other hand, have much worry for safety and security of our Arakanese’s lives,

shelter and prosperity .

We really thank Bangladesh Government, that has been endeavoring to the best of its ability in
the fields of International Peace, for its handling the issue in smooth and clever manner. We
would like to make a request to the Bangladesh Government to give its kindest protection to
our Arakanese.
