Roles & Responsibilities:


Instrumental in Developing start up company and its product in India, i.e. Agron India Pvt Ltd.
Drove the entire strategy and Gamut of products, which includes, Herbal and dietary food
supplements, Nutraceuticals, Beauty and Cosmetics products, etc,.
Launched couple of websites for Food Supplement Products (www.agron-india.com) and
Cosmetic Products (www.naturonworld.com).

Marketed and Traded products like Herbal Cosmetics, Neutraceutical Cosmetic Products,
Ayurvedic Products, Herbal Extracts/Crude, Vegetable Oils and Food Products like
Mango Pulp, Saffron and Aloe Vera.

Achievement:
Was instrumental in Conceptualizing and Innovating delivery service at doorstep on individuals
and also globally marketing this concept overseas with a view to attract medical tourism with
main focus on Ayurvedic and traditional medicines, treatments and cure.

From September 2003 to August 2004 : Associated with M/s.Reliable Group Bhopal ( An
ITC Associate Company ) – As General Manager – International Trade, handling Exports of
Cigarettes, Cut & processed Tobacco and Merchant Exports of Various Agro Products and

From January 1998 to August 2003 : Associated with M/s.Kanrey Foods (P) Ltd – Madras,
A Malaysian group of companies – in their Export / Import - India Division as Senior Manager –
looking after Imports of Computer Products, Components & Accessories, Fruit Jellies and
Puddings, and marketing them through dealers and distribution networks in Southern Indian
states.
On the Exports front dealing mainly in Merchant exports of various Products, Agro -
Commodities, Leather & Leather Products, and Small Engineering goods and Machineries.

From October 1992 to December 1997 : Associated with M/s.Moolchand Exports Ltd.,
Madras – in the capacity as Manager – Business Development.
Chiefly responsible for International marketing of companies products, assigned as Profit
Centre – Head. During the course of association successfully Trebled Leather Division’s &
the company’s turnover in short span to the maximum of Rs.105.00 Crores in Exports.
I have been Instrumental in Establishing New lines of Business such as Agro-products and
Commodities exports, Joint Venture in Property Development and Backward integration –
into Commodity Farming.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director – responsible for Profitable Operations – of
manufacturing Division, Development of New Markets – Overseas, New Products
Developments, Brand Development, Developing Excellent Buyers and Vendors base, and
Development of Merchant Export – products and commodities.

From October 1991 to September 1992: Associated with M/s.Enkay Texofood
Industries Ltd., Bombay – as AGM – Commercial – reporting to the Vice President.
Responsibilities primarily to get all Governmental clearances, licenses, and co-coordinating
all agencies for speedy completion of the project and to set up Commercial production.
Chiefly responsible of Developing Suppliers base for large input of agro-products, and
Product Development, Marketing and Promotion strategies.

From December 1989 to August 1991: Associated with M/s.A.P.Industrial


Components Ltd., Hyderabad – a Subsidiary of Forbes & Forbes Ltd., as Assistant Manager-
Administration.
I was initially inducted for commercial and administrative functions, however with the abrupt
departure of Works Manager, was given the additional responsibility of handling the
Manufacturing Operations at Hyderabad, and Project works at Nainital, reporting to Director-
Operations.
Under my leadership – production at Hyderabad doubled, and also was instrumental in
speedy completion of new manufacturing facilities at Nainital. Other responsibilities and
results included Significant Cost reduction by induction of alternative components, Improved
H.R.relations and manpower efficiency, Developed New Vendors, and Establishing of new
offices for Sales and marketing support functions.

From December 1987 to December 1989 : Associated with M/s.Monuments India,


Madras – as Assistant Administration Manager – reporting to the Works Manager.
Responsibility included controlling all administrative and commercial functions. Management
realizing my adaptability and ease in handling production – was given the task of increasing
the production, which was successfully increased by 200 %.
Developed Product mixes and Concentrated solely on exports, and Developed strong
supplier base.

From October 1986 to August 1987 : Associated with M/s.Shasun Drugs, Pondicherry
– as Manager – Reporting to the Works Manager.
Responsible for controlling all administrative and commercial functions, to provide support to
the Project, Develop and arrange supply of raw materials, to ensure delivery of finished
products to customers, etc.,

Overall Achievements
Developed New markets for company’s products – Globally, Established Overseas – Trading,
Increased Exports – through New Products, and giving value addition to existing product, thus
achieving substantial results in all associated companies.

Successfully increased Production wherever associated, Ensured Profitability and Cost Control,
Projects completion Speedily. New Project Ideas development, conducting feasibility studies
and implementing the projects.

Sales plans for Domestic Marketing. Instrumental in Developing and Establishing Export Market.

4. Granite & Marble Blocks, Slabs, Monuments : Production, Planning and Control of
Factories, Job Processors, Contract Operations etc,. New Product and Design mix to maximize
production output, Developing New Buyers and markets to Export these products.
