But please remember, this “san” cannot be attached to your own name when,
you address yourself. For example, if you’re Mr. Smith, you cannot say,
“Watashi wa sumisu-san desu.” This is wrong, and moreover, sounds very
silly. So please be careful not to attach “san” to yourself. This is a very
common mistake, and I don’t want you to make this silly mistake, so please
bear in mind!

Ok, this Jaa mata and Dewa mata is used to your colleagues, as you are
going to see them every day.
Jaa and Dewa means, “Well then”. And mata means Again.
Also, you can say Jaa mata, ashita. Here, Ashita means tomorrow.
So see you tomorrow. Jaa mata, ashita!
