7. Contract description:
The purpose of this contract is to provide supervision services of the construction works of the new motorway
section from Demir Kapija to Smokvica, as part of the pan-European corridor X.
The consultant shall ensure that services for supervision of the construction works shall be in accordance
with all the requirements for quality control, control of quantities, supervision of the work progress, analyses of
expenses, implementation of the environmental criteria as well as working on administrative questions during
the construction and the defect liability period.
The length of the motorway is about 28,2 km according to the detailed design of the project. Along the route,
besides the earthworks on cuts and embankments there are 2 double-tube tunnels above 1 km length, 6 bridges
and 2 interchanges, 5 overpasses and 7 underpasses.
