P. ix, Sec. III. A, revise Item 22 to read:

22. If materials only are being purchased according to the requirements of Sec.
4.3 of this standard, then the purchaser shall specify quantities for the following
items: (1) primer by type (Sec. 4.3.2); (2) coal-tar enamel by type (Sec. 4.3.3.1 and
Table 1); (3) outerwrap (Sec. 4.3.4); and (4) glass-fiber inner mat (Sec. 4.7.3.1). The
purchaser should also specify if an affidavit of compliance is required (Sec. 6.3).

P. 22, Sec. 4.7.2.4, revise to read:

4.7.2.4 Coal-tar enamel, glass-fiber inner mat, and bonded outerwrap.

P. 22, Sec. 4.7.2.4.2, revise to read:

4.7.2.4.2 The construction of this exterior protection shall consist of (1) primer;
(2) coal-tar enamel, 3/32 in. ± 1/32 in. (2.4 mm ± 0.8 mm) thick; (3) glass-fiber inner
mat; (4) coal-tar enamel, 1/32 in. (0.8 mm) minimum; (5) bonded outerwrap; and (6)
whitewash, water-emulsion latex paint, or kraft-paper finish coat.

P. 22, Sec. 4.7.2.4.3, revise to read:

4.7.2.4.3 Glass-fiber inner mat shall conform to the material requirements set
forth in Sec. 4.7.3.1.
