Abstract
The article deals with the problems of geopolitics and the new balance of power in the world. In
connection with the redistribution of geopolitical fields and the formation of a new polycentric
model of the world order, its architecture is currently undergoing an accelerated transformation,
covering most of the globe. For the first time in decades, the “great chessboard”, about which Zb.
Brzezinski wrote, turned over and again set in motion. Today, China and Russia, Japan and Korea,
Turkey and Indonesia, India and Pakistan, Iran and Central Asia form a new landscape of Eurasia.
