encourages exploration and creativity to stimulate smell, touch,

Heuristic Play is where children experiment with material
(objects and containers. Young children are learning skills of
problem-solving, reasoning and numeracy as they manipulate
objects and learn how they interact with each other.

PREPARING YOURSELF FOR EMPLOYMENT DAY

The Preparing Yourself for Employment Day will comprise of a
series of workshops with the aim of helping attendees to
improve their chances of gaining employment. The workshops
such as Writing a Good CV or ‘Improving your Interview
Technique’, Effective Job Search will be delivered by the Masbro
Centre’s trained advisors and our outside partners.

The Registered Childminding Drop-in Group is a stay and play
for children aged 0-5 years and their childminders only. The
childminders provide fun and stimulating activities for the
children in their care. Our Childminding Network Officer
will be available to offer support and will regularly invite
other professionals along to the sessions.
