Short Text
Automatic release of QI stock
Long Text
Hi
Some of our products have specified curing periods, there’s a request
to take production output (Finished product) directly to Quality
inspection and keep these stocks in QI for specific days for curing.
After the specific days met (days specific for material) it should
automatically move to unrestricted stock.
If there’s a special requirement there should be a flexibility of move
this QI stock to unrestricted stocks.
Is there any specific settings related to this business need. Please
advice.
Thank you in advance !!!

Hello,
thanks for the given information.
In the described issue I can only recommend that you set a value for
GR processing time and you create a 04 inspection when the GR from
production is made, this will ensure that the UD cannot be made earlier
that the number of days you set for GR processing time.
The other posibility is to use the field average inspection duration
within the inspection type setup, this enables the calculation of the
inspection end date, which can be evaluated. The problem here is that
if you make an auto UD the date is not taken into consideration, read
the documentation of QA10 which describes what is taken into
consideration.
We would like to inform you that this reply is consultation according
to note 83020, which we fairly grant you free of charge.
We hope that this response helps you solve your case quickly.
Have a nice day.
