Recommends this hotel The rooms were ok but had a great view of River Ganga which simply
4.0 Posted 2 Apr 2011 recharged you and made you feel refreshed. The great panoramic view of
out of 5 the city from the terrace is the highlight of the hotel. We could actually see
triveni ghat and the aartis taking place from the hotel terrace. The hotel
seems a bit old but the service was exceptional. Also the food was really
good. The hotel is right at the centre of city which makes it convenient to
explore the city. Overall, a total value for money hotel. I would come again
later.

Laxman Jhula Triveni Ghat Rishikund Going to these places allows you to
experience what the whole city is like.

Does not recommend this hotel It was further from the area of interest in Rishikesh (laxmanjula) than I
1.0 Posted 22 Mar 2011 expected. The room was dirty, beat down, and had many insects flying
out of 5 around the room. The one thing that it had was a nice view of the Ganges
River, but it was over a very busy and noisy road. No internet. Did I say it
was grimy, I got their late, so I had to stay one and only one night. I slept
with my clothes on. I checked out as soon as I could. The staff tried to be
as helpful as possible, considering the circumstances. Once I found new
accommodations in Laxman Jula everything was better.

Laxman Jula and Ram Jula, further toward the footbridge.

Area recommendations
Ganga View has another Hotel called Ganga Riekiesh right by the Ganga
River. Beuatiful, clean well staffed offers ammenities and beatiful view from
the deluxe suites. Pricier but well worth it.

to you. It was a rare incident that had happened to any of our guests.
Though the rooms might not provide you with the luxurious amenities but
cleanliness has always been our priority. In case you do happen to visit
Rishikesh again in the near future, then we would be obliged if you could
give us another chance to serve you better and needless to say your stay
will be complimentary with us.

A Z from New York “Stay away from that hotel”

Does not recommend this hotel We did not stay there. We noticed that something wrong with this hotel, so
2.0 Posted 25 Sep 2010 we asked to show us room. They showed several, including the best
out of 5 rooms. Everything is dirty. Stay away from that hotel. I should notice that
their manager took us to another their hotel as he said 5 stars, but we did
not like there either. We had to find another hotel to stay in town. Stayed in
hotel "The Great Ganga".

“Not worth the money at all. Stay away.”

We booked the hotel, but when we came in there and looked

at it, we decided not to stay there. We noticed that something
wrong with this hotel, so we asked to show us room. They
showed several ones, including the best rooms. Everything is
dirty. Stay away from that hotel.
I should notice that their manager was nice and he took us to
another their hotel as he said 5 stars, but we did not like there
either. We had to find another hotel to stay in town. Stayed in
hotel "The Great Ganga".

“Rooms have a view of the Ganges”

This hotel is nestiled on a hill overlooking the Ganges River. It

has some great views of the river. Except for the rooms in the
basement area, most of the rooms do not have the mildew
smell of monsoon season. The restraunt view of the Ganges is
wonderful and the food is excellant. The Chef made my
special order of moong beans. The renovated rooms at the top
of the hotel are the nicest and have the better views. I was
there at the time fo the Shiva festival and the rooms were
quiet. Hotel is above the noise of the streets below. A good
value. Will stay at this hotel when I return.

“A good place to stay”

I was traveling all alone with my bike from Noida to

Rishikesh. Just to do some biking and Chill myself.
I was all exhausted when I reached there but just a shower
and exciting view of Ganga from there refreshed and
recharged me and I flew again on my bike within two hours to
explore the city.
It is the nice place to stay in the rishikesh, just in the city and
on the bank of river Ganga. Over all a nice and refreshing
place to stay.

“Great place to stay & Enjoy with Family”

One can enjoy to the fullest while staying in such a peaceful

place near the auspicious Ganga in India. We were able to
visit most of the places in Rishikesh as this Hotel is centrally
located in the city. Also there are various activites that takes
place in the hotel during your stay liek bonefire etc. Our
experience was really amazing there.

“Not worth the money. Could have been cleaner.”

While the staff was quiet helpful and polite, the room could
have been cleaner. The taps kept dripping in the bathroom.
But true to its name, it does face the river ganga, and is quiet
close to all the rafting places.
