Partially completed walls shall be covered at all times when work is not in
progress (to control both temperature and humidity); Covers shall be 1997 UBC

drapped over the wall and extend a minimum of 2 feet (600mm) down Sec. 2104.3.1
both sides and shall be securely held in place.

Protection shall be maintain for at least 24 hours after masonry 1997 UBC

placement and grouting operations are completed. Sec. 2104.3.5
