Important: Students must submit an application for each TAFE program for which they are seeking a fee concession, minimum
fee or exemption. Please ensure you retain a copy of this form when you submit it to the Hub.
Eligibility
This form is to be used by students enrolled in a government subsidised place who are eligible to apply for a concession, a minimum
fee or exemption of TAFE tuition fees.
Australian full-fee and international students are not eligible for a concession, minimum fee or exemption of TAFE tuition fees.
Holders of one of the following concession cards are eligible to apply for concession: Commonwealth Health Care Card, Pensioner
Concession Card, Veteran’s Gold Card.
In addition to the above criteria, diploma and advanced diploma students must be aged under the age of 25 as at 1 January 2011 and
have their first class scheduled on or after 1 February 2011.
To be eligible for a TAFE concession the valid card start date must be on or before the scheduled commencement of the first unit of
study in the term of enrolment in which the student is seeking concession.
Concession fees apply to the dependent spouse or child in the case of the Commonwealth Health Care Card and Pension Card
(providing they are listed on the card).
To receive the exemption/concession the appropriate card must be provided, with the form, at the Hub on your campus by:
• 30 June 2011 for Semester 1 commencement • 30 November 2011 for Semester 2 commencement
No application will be considered after these dates.
