MOODLE PLUG-IN: HOST A CLASS

The Adobe Connect plug-in for Moodle allows you to create meetings as a Moodle course
activity. The benefit is that Adobe Connect will restrict participants to those in your course
roster, thus enabling you to adhere more closely to FERPA guidelines.

 Create a Meeting Using the Moodle Plug-in - article 15574.

To create a meeting in Moodle:

1. Click on the Turn editing on button in the upper right.


2. Click on the Add an activity drop-down menu and select Adobe Connect.
 Meeting 3. Fill in the Adobe Connect meeting title and Intro field. Select the Meeting type and
a Start and End time.
4. Click the Save and return to course button at the bottom.

Hosts control access and permissions to an Adobe Connect meeting. Meeting participants
have the least amount of default permissions and additional permissions can be granted, if
needed.

Templates, layouts and pods extend the functionality of an Adobe Connect Meeting. A
template is a pre-designed meeting room which contains several default layouts. Layout is
simply the arrangement of po]ds within the meeting room.

such as mobility impairments, blindness and low vision. Accessibility features in Adobe
Connect enable people with disabilities to use the Meeting functionality as much as possible
