Participants will develop a project based learning activity that incorporates the
use of wikispaces by their students. Participants will develop a project that Elem.

involves research of various topics that are related to the overall main topic. Comp. Lab
Participants will be setting up a wikispace that is specific to the project their
students will be completing. Students will research their chosen or assigned
topic and then use the wikispace to store their information and/or complete the HS Comp.

project. Participants will be establishing the project description, specific learner Lab
tasks, project outcomes, and the rubric and/or scoring guide for assessing the
project and student effort.
* Participants must attend both sessions within the same month and are Elem.

Participants will practice creating online learning activities other than quiz Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 HS Comp.
assessments for their students to complete online. Some of the activities include 9am – 12pm Lab
book activities, lesson activities, group blogs, and collaborative writing spaces
for the online learners. All dates will have different material presented. HS Comp.
