Boris Kaeski (the author and director of the documentary) was born in
Sarajevo, which is capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which back in
1981 was one of the republics of former Yugoslavia. He, lived there
with his mixed nationality family (mother Bosnian Serb, and father
Macedonian) since his father was an army officer in Yugoslavian
National Army situated in small city near Sarajevo, Visoko. He was
raised and begun his elementary school in that small city as a
Yugoslavenian. As the civil war in Yugoslavia reached Visoko as well,
Boris and his whole family went as refugees to Republic of Macedonia
and like thousands leaving all they possess and never got any
compensation. During the years, he was often wondering what
happened with his childhood friends and with the development of the
technology, in the past two years, he managed to get in contact with
them. His efforts have connected most of the school mates and his
idea for reunion was accepted with huge excitement by others who are
from different nationality and back during the war, opposite sides.
Dzenan Hodzich a.k.a. Dr. Zo, one of school mates of Boris who is
Bosnian known RAP performer. He has already established his family.
He sings about the situation in Bosnia, which is in a way a hostage of
national issues in the federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Muslim by
religion.
Adnan Azdajich, best friend of Boris's older brother Bojan. He's born in
1978 and used to be active hip-hip performer at least at local level.
Even though he is Muslim, he and Bojan have kept contact during the
years and visit each other when possible.
Nina Hrvacevich, girl whose father was on battlefield, she and her
mother in city of Banja Luka and her older brother (yet teenager at the
time) on some other side. 1995, the family had reunion until Dayton
peace treat was signed and they moved to city of Brchko and with her
family lived in someone else's house (probably of some Muslim
refugees). She has also encountered death because of illness. She is
one of most enthusiastic ones to come for the reunion.
Lejla Chakich, stayed in home city Visoko during the war and she is
informed on the destinies of few of our school mates. She also lost her
mother and her grandmother changed her mothers place.
The documentary is designed to overcome and break ties with the bad
past, and to renew friendship as it used to exist, hoping that the story
will have a positive response not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but
also beyond.

This film has no intention to criticize, but to teach those with closed
minds who do not see beyond their limitations as p[prejudices,
stereotypes or nationality. Certainly, this is a film with a certain
ideology, which the author did recognized among his peers, other
protagonists, and is willing to share with the world.
