Butterfly Best Wishes

Supplies:
All Supplies are Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted.
 Stamps: Short & Sweet
 Ink: Basic Black Classic Ink, Versamark pad
 Paper: Pretty in Pink CS, Whisper White CS, Sweet Pea DP Stack
 Accessories: Snail adhesive, mini glue dots, Dotto adhesive, bone
folder, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, heat and stick powder, Heat Tool,
paper snips, Big Shot, Beautiful Wings embosslits die, Modern Label
punch, Playground designer buttons, Circle Scissor Plus, Glass Mat;
Non-SU supplies: clear peel and stick rhinestones,

Directions:
1. Take an 8” x 7” piece of Pretty in Pink CS and fold it in half with your bone folder to create a 4” x 7” card.
2. Center and stick a 3 ⅞” x 6 ⅞” piece of Old Olive Sweet Pea DP to the card front with Snail adhesive.
3. Center and stick a 3 ¼” x 6 ⅜” piece of Pretty in Pink CS to the card front with Snail adhesive.
4. Center and stick a 3 ⅛” x 6 ¼” piece of Sweet Pea striped DP to the Pretty in Pink CS with Snail adhesive.
5. Cut a 3 ¼” circle out of a piece of the Sweet Pea butterfly DP using the Circle Scissor Plus and the glass mat. The
butterfly pattern is the reverse of the striped pattern.
6. Stick the circle to the bottom right hand side of the card so that the bottom right corner of the card is touching the
edge of the circle.
7. Open up the card and trim off the DP that is overhanging.
8. Using Basic Black Classic ink, stamp your greeting onto a piece of Whisper White CS.
9. Punch out the greeting using the Modern Label punch.
10. Center and stick the punched out greeting onto the Sweet Pea butterfly DP about ½” up from the bottom of the
card.
11. Thread a small sliver of DP through the holes of an Old Olive button from the Playground designer button collection.
Stick the ends of the CS to the back of the button with a mini glue dot.
12. Stick the button to the left hand side of the greeting using a mini glue dot.
13. With the Big Shot and the Beautiful Wings embosslits die, die cut a large butterfly from a scrap piece of Pretty in
Pink CS.
14. Stick your butterfly onto a scrap piece of paper using Dotto adhesive.
15. Pat a Versamark pad all over the butterfly. Sprinkle the butterfly with Heat and Stick powder and then heat with a
Heat Tool.
16. Sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds glitter over the butterfly and heat a second time.
17. Remove the butterfly from the scrap piece of paper.
18. Stick the butterfly onto your card, just above the greeting, using a mini glue dot.
19. Peel off 3 rhinestones and place them in a row down the center of the butterfly. You’re done!
