Пояснительная записка.
Образовательные:
обобщить и систематизировать знания учащихся по теме, учить
использовать тематическую лексику в устной речи, для составления
диалогов и сообщений о своем доме, о доме своей мечты.
Развивающие:
развивать навыки устной речи, речевые способности в сфере
иноязычного общения.
Воспитательные:
прививать речевую культуру на иностранном языке, воспитывать
чувство любви к Родине, формировать потребность в знаниях по
строительству на иностранном языке.

I. Орг. момент.
1) Приветствие, сообщение целей урока.
Teacher: Look here, please. Here you can see some of English proverbs
about home. Let’s read them. (Учащиеся повторяют за учителем
английские пословицы):
1.There is no place like home.
(В гостях хорошо, фа дома лучше.)
2.East or West, home is best.
(Восток или Запад, а дома лучше всего)
3.Home, sweet home.
(Дом, милый дом.)
4.Men make houses, women make homes.
(Мужчины строят дома, а женщины вьют гнезда.)
Teacher: Tell me, what is the difference between the words house, home.
Учащиеся высказывают свое мнение, учитель обобщает:
So, a house is a building to live in, home is a place where we and our
family live, a native land.
II. Повторение лексического материала по теме «Моя
квартира (дом)»
Teacher: Let’s revise the words and word-combinations. Repeat after me,
please:
a) Building materials: tile, paint, brick, wall-paper, stone, concrete,
wood.
Do you remember the rhyme:
We are building home,
Using Tile, Wood, Brick
And Concrete, Paint,
Wall-paper, Stone.
b) Teacher: Our flats and houses have all modern conveniences:
electricity, telephone, lift, central heating, gas, conditioner, running
water ( hot and cold), rubbish chute, ventilation.
c) Process of building.
Teacher: When we build a house, what do we do first?
Students: First an excavation is dug.
Teacher: Then?
Students: Then a foundation is constructed.
Teacher: After that?
Students: After that- walls, floors and roof.
Teacher: And the last?
Students: Finishing materials.
Teacher: So, when we speak about our flat or a house we need the words,
concerning ( по плакату):
Rooms, things (furniture),modern conveniences, process of building,
building materials.
We have already revised the words, concerning building materials,
modern conveniences and process of building. And now let’s revise the
rest of the words. ( Хоровая отработка слов по темам: “Rooms”,
“Things”, etc.)
Teacher: Let’s have a small talk about the place you live in.
Фронтальная беседа учителя с учащимися:
Teacher: - Do you live in a flat or a house?
- Is it large or small?
- How many rooms are there in your flat (house)?
- What are the rooms?
- What furniture do you have in your living-room?
- Is there a musical center in it? etc.

Teacher: Are you tired? Let’s have a small rest and some exercises.

1. Обучение чтению.
Teacher: Let’s revise our dialogues. Imagine, that you meet a friend of
yours, greet him (her) and have a small talk about the places you live in. I
give you one minute to revise the dialogues.
Учащиеся повторяют, затем воспроизводят диалоги по ролям.
Примеры диалогов:
1) Диалог 1.
Student 1: Hello!
Student 2: Hello! Haven’t seen you for ages. Where do you live?
S.1: I live in a big house in Lenin street.
S.2: Really? Great! How many rooms are there in your house?
S.1: There are four rooms in my house: a dining room, a living room and
two bedrooms.
S.2: Your house is large, isn’t it?
S.1: Oh yes. Downstairs there is a kitchen, a dining room and a living
room. In the living room there are two armchairs, a sofa, a table, a TV set,
a cupboard and a carpet.
S.2: What is there upstairs?
S.1: Upstairs there are two bedrooms.
S.2: Your house sounds very cosy.
S.1: You are right, it is.
2) Диалог 2.
Student 1: Recently we moved in our new flat. Do you want to see it?
Student 2: I’d love to. What floor is your flat on?
S.1: On the second floor.
S.2: How many rooms are there in your flat?
S.1: Three: a living room and two bedrooms.
S.2: What a nice flat you have!
S.1: I like it very much too.
S.2: Do you have a room to yourself?
S.1: Yes, I do.
S.2: Whose room is this?
S.1: It’s my parents’ bedroom.
S.2: Where do you usually have dinner?
S.1: In the kitchen.
S.2: Would you like some tea?
S.1: Yes, please.
Teacher: Some students of our group took pictures of their houses. They
want to show them to us. Please listen to them attentively, then ask your
questions. Let’s have a look!
Учащиеся рассказывают о своих домах по фотографиям (через
телевизор) и задают вопросы, например:
- Do you have a garden near your house?
- Where do you usually have breakfast (watch TV, etc.)?
- Do you like it when your friends and relatives come to visit you?
Etc.
3. Подготовка и презентация проектов по теме « Дом моей
мечты».
Teacher: Thank you very much for your interesting stories. You have
very nice houses, they are so comfortable and cosy. And let’s dream.
This armchair will be a dreaming-chair. What is your dream-house? You
were to make up stories about your dream-house, using the following
sentences as a plan. Let’s read and translate them.

Student 1:
My dream-house is a detached house. This is a typical English house. It
is a two- storied building with all modern conveniences: electricity, gas,
running-water, central heating, and telephone. Our house is cozy. We
used brick when building it. There are five rooms in it: a living room, and
four bedrooms. It is surrounded by a forest. Many people live in it: my
family, my children. It is full of love and friends. This house is the place
where I can be happy.
Student 2:
My house is quite a large detached house situated in the middle of a
wood and has a large garden. The house is very modern and is specially
designed to save energy and to be ecological.
On the ground floor there is a big hall in the middle of the house. Around
the hall there is the kitchen, the sitting room and the dinning room. The
most important room in the house is the sitting room where there are lots
of bookshelves and some very large, comfortable sofas.
In the garden there is a pond so that the local birds and animals will
come near the house.
I would like to live in my forest house because it would be very peaceful.
I would live there with my family and have lots of rooms, so that my
friends could come to stay with me.
Teacher: Let’s sing a song. It’s called “When you are invited”.
Do you like to invite guests or to be invited? So, let’s sing a song about it.
First listen, then sing.
