Career Objective

To develop and enhance the skills to be a good team player that can fit in to any challenging
organization as a Software Engineer. As I get experienced in the career, I wish to extend my
contribution in to managerial and business aspects of the organisation with my knowledge in the
management studies.

Technical Exposure and Projects Involved

 Internship 2010: Six months of industrial training at AtLink Communications (Pvt.) Ltd, as a
trainee software engineer from February 8th to July 23rd.
 Network Monitoring System: It reduced a lot of costs and effort of checking server manually
by network engineers in AtLink by automating monitoring. It started with requirement
gathering step and I actively participated in all steps of designing, development, testing.
Technologies: Apache Tomcat, Java - J2EE, MySQL and Flex.
 Web Development: Contributed to web site upgrading and maintenance tasks which
involved (George R. Willy, P.C: http://www.grwpc.com/) Technologies: PHP and MySQL.
 Short Term Projects: Desktop File search Engine using Google API and GUI technology
research. Technology: Java.
 BubbleBoy: 2011 (visit: http://bubbleboyvoyage.blogspot.com/)
 Work as the group leader.
 Developed components to input video stream through cameras to the system using
OpenCV and process information of input. Technology: Java.
 Database research project for Derby: 2011
 It focused the JOIN strategy improvement. Strategy is discussed for Full outer JOIN which is
not currently available in Derby. Technology: Java.
 Advertising site, Salpila.lk: 2011 (visit: http://salpila.lk/)
 Developed an advertising site that users can Sign up and publish advertisements with
two fellow students. Users can advertise goods and services for free. Technologies: PHP
and MySql.
 Parser: 2011
 Implemented a parser and lexer. Technologies: AntLr and Java(Eclipse AntLr Plug-in and
AntLr works)
 Intelligent System Project: 2010
 Developed an agent for solving a shape matching game automatically with the lowest possible
number of steps. Technology: C# language.

 Firefox Add-on, Time @ Site: 2009
 It was for Mozilla Firefox web browser for tracking the time spent on different sites the
user browses. Technologies: XUL, CSS and Java Script.
 Remotely Controlled Car: 2008
 Worked as the group leader.
 Chip programming and circuitry parts were my contribution. Technology: PIC C
