Brief review of the research context

As a developing nation, India is constituted as distinct types of government policies. India faces extreme inefficiency in the
implementation of public policy. There are several deteriorations exist in India as like corruption, unaccountability, government
incompetence, etc. Thus, the main focus of this paper is to study the deficiencies of Indian current government policies and
propose a reform of local governance in compare to a developed nation like UK. The research will identify key challenges
faced by current Indian local government in terms of legislative, political, organisational, economical, etc. It also will suggest
reformation of policies in context with the UK local governance policies.

Significance of the research:

The study provides in-depth understanding of current local governance policy of India and UK. As developing country India
needs to change its current paradigm of public policy. UK is a developed nation and India needs to learn lot from it in the field
of public sector. Thus this study provides through knowledge of Indian public policy deficiencies and most importantly it
suggests an efficient model of local government reform. The implementation of this study can accelerate the growth of Indian
public sector proficiency and help to overcome corruption, public unaccountability and other public policy deficiencies.
Methodologies to be employed

1) Collection of primary data: includes accumulating available information about Indian and UK current local government
policies.

2) Analysis of the primary data and generation of secondary data: includes identification of deficiencies of Indian
government policies in compared to UK policies.

3) Research and justification of secondary data: is the justification of choice and condense research on the secondary data.

4) Simulate the Reformation of local government policies: allows preparing a local government reform model suggesting a
novel way of local governance.

5) Concluding the research: is the final step of the research.
