ASSEMBLY / INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS :

Tools required for installation: Slotted screwdriver , Pliers , Wire Cutters , Wire connectors and Electrical tape .

FIGURE1 1 . Before beginning the installation , carefully unpack and identify all parts ,
referring to the illustration ( FIGURE1 ) .

OUTLET BOX 2 . Turn power to the installation point OFF at circuit breaker .
HOUSE SUPPLY and
GROUND WIRES CROSSBAR
3.Unfold DECORATION ARMS to proper location and match the holes on it with
( 2 ) OUTLET BOX SCREWS mounting holes on CENTER COLUMN. Thread LOCK SCREWS through the holes
( not supplied )
GREEN GROUND SCREW into mounting holes and tighten until snug to secure them.
NIPPLE
4 . Locate the CROSSBAR and attach to ceiling mounted outlet box using ( 2 ) OUTLET
BOX SCREWS ( not supplied ). Locate the NIPPLE with HEX NUTS and SHAKE
PROOF WASHER . Pass the SHAKE PROOF WASHER over the end of the NIPPLE
CEILING CANOPY
and thread the NIPPLE into the center of the CROSSBAR . Using pliers , tighten HEX
KNOB
NUT against CROSSBAR to secure NIPPLE .

5 . Make the connections: Quoizel recommends a minimum of ( 2 ) people for the next
FIXTURE CHAIN ( 2 ) steps . Trim the FIXTURE SUPPLY WIRES and GROUND WIRES to approx . 6 " in
length from where the wires exit CEILING CANOPY . Trim back wire jacketing approx .
HANGER 3 / 4 ". Position the fixture under the OUTLET BOX . Using wire connectors ( not
supplied ) connect the HOUSE GROUND WIRE to FIXTURE GROUND WIRE ;
connect the HOUSE WHITE WIRE to the FIXTURE SUPPLY WIRE ( RIBBED SIDE );
CRYSTAL
connect the HOUSE BLACK (or RED ) WIRE to the FIXTURE SUPPLY WIRE
LOCK SCREW
CENTER COLUMN ( SMOOTH SIDE ). Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape .
DECORATION ARM
6 . With the connections properly made , carefully tuck all wires into OUTLET BOX . Pass
SUPPORT ARM the MOUNTING HOLE in the underside of the CEILING CANOPY over the NIPPLE ,
attach to CROSSBAR . Thread the FINIAL onto the end of the NIPPLE . Hand tighten
FINIAL until snug to secure fixture against the ceiling .

7 . Position the SOCKET through the hole in the SHADE. Secure SHADE by threading
SOCKET COLLARS onto SOCKETS and hand tighten until snug . Install bulbs
and refer to fixture markings and / or labels for maximum wattage .

SHADE 8 . Restore power to installation point ON . Keep this sheet for future reference .
