PREPARATION
● Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and diagram above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or
operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement part.
● Estimated Assembly Time : 30 - 45 minutes
● Tools Required for Assembly (not included) : Flathead Screwdriver , Phillips Screwdriver, Pliers,
Electrical Tape, Wire Cutters, Safety Glasses &4, 100 Watt, Type - A Medium Base Bulbs.
● Helpful Tools (not included) : Wire Strippers.

STEP 1 :
a . Thread the end of the Center Rod Assembly onto the
nipple on the top center of the Shade Assembly. Hand
tighten until snug.

STEP 2 :
a . Place the Diffuser over the ends of Stems, attach onto
Tabs in the bottom edge of the Shade Assembly.
b. Pass Plastic Washers and Flat Washers over the ends of
Stems and secure with Hex Nuts. Tighten until snug.
c. Thread Finials onto the ends of Stems and hand tighten
until snug.

STEP 3 : Ceiling
a. Decide the length of the chain needed for your Canopy
application . You will be required to remove excess
Ceiling Loop
links with bolt cutters .
b . Attach one ends of Fixture Chains onto Fixture Loops on
the top of the Fixture Assembly and attach the another
ends of the Chains onto the Ceiling Loops on the bottom of
the Ceiling Canopy.

STEP 5:
* Pliers is required on this step .
a . Thread Hex Nut onto top end of the Nipple .
b . Place Lock Washer over the top end of the Nipple and
then thread the Nipple into the center lock hole of the Lock Washer

c . Us ing pliers , thread the Hex Nut against the c rossbar
and hand tighten until snug .

STEP 6 :
a . Locate the Ceiling Canopy onto the Crossbar and slip the
Button Stop on the end of Lanyard into the Slot on the
Crossbar as shown.

STEP 7 :
* Use Wire Connectors ( not supplied ) to connect the WHITE OR RIBBED WHITE OR RIBBED
wires . FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE
a . Connect the House Ground Wire to the Fixture Ground
Wire.
b . Connect the House White ( or Ribbed ) Wire to the BLACK ( OR RED ) WIRE BLACK OR SMOOTH
Fixture Supply Wire ( White or Ribbed Side ) .
c . Connect the House Black ( or Red ) Wire to the Fixture FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE
Supply Wire ( Black or Smooth Side ).
d . Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape
GROUND WIRE GROUND WIRE
and carefully stuff all of the connected wires into the
Outlet Box . FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE
STEP 8 :
a. Pass the center hole on the Ceiling Canopy over the Nipple
threaded into the Crossbar. Secure by threading the Hex
Nut onto the Nipple. Tighten until snug.
b. Thread the Finial onto the end of the Nipple and hand
tighten until snug. Nipple

STEP 9 :
a . Install correct Bulbs referring to fixture markings and / or labels for maximum wattage .
Your installation is completed now . Restore electricity . Retain this sheet for future reference .
