! WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS


WARNING:
● Before beginning the installation, turn off electricity at the circuit breaker box or the main fuse box by
switching off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse.
CAUTIONS:
● These instructions are provided for your safety. It is very important that they are read completely before
the installation of your fixture. We strongly recommend that a professional electrician install the fixture.
● Disconnect fixture from the power source before replacing the bulb(s), making sure the bulb(s) had
sufficient time to cool down. DO NOT subject the lamp to any shock while lit as shattering of lamp may
result.
PREPARATION
● Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and diagram above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or
operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement part.
● Estimated Assembly Time: 15 - 30 minutes
● Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Flathead screwdriver , Phillips screwdriver, pliers, electrical
tape, wire cutters, safety glasses &2, 60 Watt, Candelabra Base Bulbs.
● Helpful Tools (not included): Wire Strippers.

STEP 1: Mounting Screw


a . Screw the Mounting Screws into the Crossbar , place the Crossbar
Lock Washers over the Mounting Screws and thread the Hex Nut
Hex Nuts onto the Mounting Screws as shown . Secure the
position of the Mounting Screws by tightening the Hex Nuts
against the Crossbar .
b . Secure the Crossbar to the Outlet Box with Outlet Box
Screws . Lock Washer

STEP 2 :
* Use Wire Connectors ( not supplied ) to connect the WHITE OR RIBBED WHITE OR RIBBED
wires . FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE
a . Connect the House Ground Wire to the Fixture Ground
Wire.
b . Connect the House White ( or Ribbed ) Wire to the BLACK ( OR RED ) WIRE BLACK OR SMOOTH
Fixture Supply Wire ( White or Ribbed Side ) .
c . Connect the House Black ( or Red ) Wire to the Fixture FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE
Supply Wire ( Black or Smooth Side ) .
d . Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape and

carefully stuff all of the connected wires into the Outlet

STEP 3 :
a . Place the Backplate over the Mounting Screws and secure
Mounting
with Mounting Balls. Hand tighten until snug. Screw

STEP 4 : Shade
a . Place the Shade inside of the Cage as shown .
b . Place Tabs onto the top edge of the Shade and line up Mounting Lock
holes on them and Mounting Holes on the Cage . Hole Screw A
c . Using screwdriver , thread Lock Screws into Mounting
Holes and hand tighten until snug to make sure the
Tabs engage the Shade .

STEP 5:
a . Install correct bulbs referring to fixture markings and / or labels for maximum wattage .

STEP 6 :
a . Take off two Hex Nut (1/8IP) from the Nipple on the bottom
center of the Junction Box.
b . Locate the Center Hole on the bottom bar of the Cage over
the Nipple on the bottom center of the Junction Box.
Secure with one Hex Nut (1/8IP). Tighten gently until snug.
c . Thread another Hex Nut (1/8IP) onto the Nipple and adjust
to proper location for the rest components. Fixture Hood
d . Locate the Fixture Cover over the Nipple and secure with
the Hex Coupling. Tighten until snug.

STEP 7 :
a . Screw the Hex Nut (1/8IP) onto the Nipple (1/8IP). And
then screw the Nipple into the Hex Coupling. Using pliers,
thread the Hex Nut against the Hex Coupling and hand
tighten until snug.

b. Thread the Finial onto the end of the Nipple and hand
tighten until snug.

STEP 8 :
a . Refer to following information for caulking instructions :

For assemble the MOUNTING BALLS , please note that


you are required to apply a small amount of Silicone
sealer to the threaded side of the MOUNTING BALLS
and then install them onto the MOUNTING SCREWS .

With the OUTDOOR FIXTURE properly installed in accordance with supplied Assembly/installation
instructions, proceed with caulking instructions below.

Note: Be sure EXTERIOR WALL SURFACE and FIXTURE BACKPLATE are free to dirt to caulking.
Using EXTERIOR GRADE CAULK, start on one side of FIXTURE BACKPLATE and follow contour, were
the FIXTURE BACKPLATE meets the EXTERIOR WALL SURFACE upward. Proceed to caulk over top of
backplate and down other side. DO NOT CAULK BOTTOM OF FIXTURE BACKPLATE to ensure proper
moisture drainage.
