2. Wastes are entered in mySAP PLM EH&S Waste Management by creating an entry document.

To do this, choose
"Create" from the Disposal processing menu.
3. You are now on the "Disposal Processing Create" screen. To create an entry document for the generated waste,
you must at least enter the generator, the waste, and the quantity of waste. If you know the generation from the
master data, that is, the combination of a generator and a waste, you can just enter the generation instead of
having to enter both the generator and the waste. Enter GEN1 in the generation field and press Return.
4. Now you still have to enter the waste quantity. You can enter the unit for this quantity manually, using the input
help, or transfer the quantity automatically from the material master for the waste. Here, we want the quantity to be
entered automatically, so we won't enter anything in the "Unit" field. To enter the waste quantity, enter 10 in the
"Quantity" field. Press Return.
5. Choose Enter. The system will add the missing data automatically.
6. The system automatically adds the generator and the waste corresponding to the generation GEN1. It also adds
the plant and storage location from the master data for the generation GEN1. In addition, it adds the unit from the
disposal processing entry tool or the material master for the waste. To continue, save the entry document.
7. Now I would like to show you some more details in the entry document. To view these details, choose the Detail
view.
8. On the "Waste generation" tab page, for example, you can see the name and address of the generator, the
description of the waste, and the maximum number of days for which the waste can be stored. Now choose the
"Storage" tab.
9. On the "Storage" tab page, you can see the plant for the disposal process and the storage location that the
system has taken from the master data. If you are using the warehouse management functions for waste, you could
enter the warehouse number, the storage type, and the storage bin where shown. Now choose the "Account
assignment" tab.
10. On the "Account assignment" tab page, you can see the accounting data that the system has taken from the
master data and the entry tool. Now I would like to show you how to post the generated waste in inventory
management. Choose "Post."
11. That's all there is to it! After only two entries and a few clicks, your waste has been posted in inventory
management using the specified storage location. You have now completed this Interactive Tutor tutorial.
From this screen you can also display the material documents created, transfer the waste to another location,
and clear the waste quantity again, for example, when the waste is collected by the disposer. We will
demonstrate this to you in other interactive tutorials.
