TMI e2E Academy is a new initiative from TMI Group, a two decade old Indian HR services provider
headquartered in Hyderabad, India with pan- India operations. TMI group in the last two decades has
successfully recruited over 50,000 executives for the corporate sector in India, Middle East and USA. "e2E"
stands for Education to Employment. As the name suggests, the Academy aims at bridging the gap between
education and employment through the following activities:
Making young graduates - especially B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. and other graduates from semi urban and
rural India - employable and provide them with wider employment choices in the Indian
Corporate sector, by leveraging TMI access to some of the largest employers in the country
Providing Job oriented training interventions to help custom fit graduate job aspirants to available
positions which require specific skills. This will be done as per employer specifications and the cost
of training will be borne by the job seeker and the employer. This will help, not only in getting the
right first job , but also in retaining the job.
Bringing together Campuses, Training Agencies, Employers and Recruiting firms on to a common
platform, optimizing resources and thereby providing affordable recruiting, training and
employability enhancement services.
Setting up career counseling centers in graduate campuses helping graduates make informed
choices of employers and job roles that are aligned to the strengths of the individual and also by
sensitizing the corporate employers to the key retention issues such as fair compensation,
nurturing work culture etc. Thus increase retention rates in the jobs
TMI e2E Academy will contribute in addressing one of the biggest challenges faced by the
nation – of unemployable graduates. Approximately 2 million graduates pass out every year,
of which only 20 to 25% are employable - “as is where is”. The rest join the rank of active job
seekers and are often frustrated by repeated rejections during the interview and selection
process because of the mismatch between corporate sector expectations and poor skill set of
the job seeker. Some of the corporate employers who have attempted to hire and train them
at their cost are frustrated by their lack of loyalty of the trainees since many of them tend to
look for another job as soon as they become employable.
The cost of the course will partly paid by the student and partly by the employer and the
employer will also pay a retention bonus to the employee after 18 to 24 months so that
employee can get back part of the fee paid by him/her.
The Delivery Model: 80% of the training content will be delivered through instructor led
model and 20% by e-learning. Training will be delivered in locations close to where candidates
are currently based. The e2E Academy will use the existing infrastructure of colleges and
invest heavily in creating and delivering content. The Trainers for e2E Academy will be
sourced locally but will be trained and certified by TMI e2E Academy Pvt. Ltd.
TMI e2E Academy Pvt. Ltd. is one of the units recently funded and supported by NSDC for enhancing the
graduate employability in the country. National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit
corporation with 49% Government equity set up by Ministry of Finance, Government of India, with the
mandate to skill 150 million people by 2022
