Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to:

1. Talk about the stimulus shown by answering the teacher’s


questions correctly

2. Recite the rhymes with correct pronunciation and intonation

texts.

(i) 2.1.1 identify and distinguish the shapes of the


letters in the alphabets.

(ii) 2.1.2 recognise and articulate initial, medial and


the final sounds in single syllable words within given
